The latest stable release of hpl1d package (or "Horsepower Lab 1D") is hpl1d.098-20070901.zip (built on September 01, 2007, 1211549 bytes).
Changes are logged in file changes.txt.
Release candidate 5 of version 0.99 is also available: hpl1d.099rc5-20080811.zip -- in which installer UI design has changed, translations to Dutch and Italian added, previously broken 'basic' model for triple junction repaired; last changes are: bugfix in Cranckase[>0] pumping work computation and improvement of non-rough pipe friction model and heat transfer in Duct.
When using this software, please be forewarned that it is still an unstable pre-release; format of input file (and of any other data files) may be changed, and no automated backward compatibility is provided so far...
When running in demo mode, solver of the package produces substantially wrong results.
Registration has to be done only once for a given PC, it turns off demo mode for all versions of
hpl1d up to 2.0.
There is a mailing list -- Hpl1d News, it is now being used mainly for announcements of "Horsepower Lab 1D" updates that are normally released on monthly basis. To subscribe for this mailing list, please send an (empty) e-mail to hpl1d-news-subscribe@horsepowerlab.com.
